Drupal Elegance: Not Just For Code Anymore

Matt Cheney

We all love the elegance the Drupal. The code style is clean, the architecture beautiful, and it’s all pretty well thought out. Plus the logo is pretty amazing.

To find a fitting tribute to our favorite content management system, I spoke with a friend from college, the very elegant Lilly Russo, who makes amazing glass mosaics through her business in Oakland, California. It takes a long time to find and cut the glass and requires some serious craftsmanship, but she is a patient and skilled craftsman and made us a wonderful mosiac. It proudly hangs in the Chapter Three San Francisco office and blesses our conference room with its Drupal beauty.

Partialy disagree... the Drupal logo is totally awful

Ok Drupal code is great, features are wonderful, people are friendly but the druplicon is awful. It looks like amateurism. Drop concept is good, graphics execution is wrong.

Take a look what means “professionnal” logos :

Dance With The One Who Brought You

Sometimes you need to dance with the one who brought you and understand that the beauty you fell in love with in the first place applies to the whole experience and makes it all gorgeous.
